Up

There was a time that everyone considers animation movies as child’s entertainment but PIXAR’s recent movies showed us that crossing the borders of imagination is possible even for adults.

The main character of PIXAR’s 2009 movie “Up” is a 78-year-old man with a cane and the emotional peak of the movie is when he’s looking at the pictures of himself and his departed wife. I think you all agree that this is not a Disney fairy tale or a pastime for kids.

The views are magnificent especially the ones at the beginning of the movie with those colorful reflects of thousand balloons and that simple mellow melody is a great choice for music.

The movie can be considered a more colorful and joyful version of “La Maison en Petits Cubes”.

“Up” tries to remind us about the importance and greatness of everyday life, the dullest moments of our life.
